1. Advantages of Chrome-Plated Rollers: Good Hardness. Other heat treatment processes, such as nitriding, high-frequency quenching, and high-frequency tempering, are slightly inferior. In practical measurements, the hardness of chrome-plated rollers is generally between 55-65 Rockwell degrees.
2. Wear-Resistant with Low Friction Coefficient. As the hardness of chrome-plated steel rollers increases, the friction coefficient relatively decreases along with the increase in smoothness, thus reducing the service life of chrome-plated steel rollers.
3. Stable Chrome Plating: Because the chrome plating layer of chrome-plated rollers is stable under different environments, it is not prone to chemical changes and is not easily corroded by some acidic or alkaline liquids or gases.
